About me
I was born and raised in the island of Singapore and did a short stint as a web designer. I later left for Japan to pursue a different future, possibly in toy design or maybe to further my studies in web. I had no real idea what I wanted to do and just kept an open mind to the possibilities, my main interests then were just design in general and toys, the latter of which lead me here. While exploring the various universities, I stumbled upon a subject totally alien to me—Industrial Design.

It seemed to fit what I wanted to do but what really piqued my interest, were the student projects regarding car design. I had always had the impression that car design was an engineer's job so this came as a real shock to me. I managed to speak with a lecturer at one of the schools I visited, he asked about my interests and I replied toys and motorcycles. Upon hearing that, he brought me to his office and showed me several motorcycle sketches produced by Honda for them to use as teaching material and that was it, that was the moment that I realised this was the chance for me to fulfill a longheld dream, a dream for me to create my own motorcycles.

That moment was 2 years ago and now, I am in my 3rd year at the Product Design department of Kobe Design University, Industrial Design major. I will be graduating in March of 2011 and will be looking for a job as a motorcycle designer then.
